Metal clarinet's are favored by jazz musicians because of their unique tone. I play enough to test a clarinet and it will play one note. The leather pads are old, some look good. It's in very nice cosmetic condition. The silver plate finish shines. I polished the easy-to-reach areas and will leave polishing under the keys to the buyer. It has no dings or dents and the body is straight. It comes with a separate barrel/neck to attach a mouthpiece to the instrument. The cork at the top of the clarinet where the barrel attaches has minor wear. It comes with an unmarked mouthpiece with a metal ligature and cover (the ligature is missing the screws). The cork on the mouthpiece is good.It includes a lyre for holding sheet music. It comes in a brown case - it's in good/nice condition. The exterior fabric is good - has minor wear. The plush red interior is good. The latches work and the leather handle has some wear and has been taped - works fine. Don't let this rare GEM get away.
