When you feel like practicing but don't want to pull out the cables, plug in the amp, etc. etc.. Most times you'll just play with no amp. This thing is so simple it's almost as easy as just pulling out your guitar. It's about 1 3/4 inches deep, 2 1/2 inches wide, and 6 inches long including the jack. You can even plug it into a strat style jack. Easily fits in most cases and gig bags. Pull it out with your guitar and you're good to go. It plugs right in with no cord.
