Description
SPECTACULAR PROFESSIONAL MODEL PAN FLUTE! This is a rare and beautiful professional Pan Flute. It is the Roberto Maestro model - P26, with 26 pipes. (3 3/4 octaves - from C to G). Fantastic handmade construction of South African Reed, it is really a work of art as well as an instrument. The sound is beautiful and haunting with deep tone and excellent volume. The wood base holds the reed pipes in perfect position. The high gloss finish gives the instrument a wonderful shine and a protective layer. There is very nice detail work all around the instrument. The gold inlay design and script on the bottom corner reads: Roberto Maestro '94. Also included is the original case, manual (perfect condition), and catalog (a little worn and wrinkled) . The instrument is in mint condition. There are no marks of any kind. It has hardly been played or handled, or been out of the case. It looks brand new. The case is also in very good condition. The inside is perfect and has a nice cushion for the flute. There is only minor fading and signs of age on the outside and a few white specks from old paint or something similar, but there is no effect on the integrity of the case. The manufacturer address is:Roberto PanflutesPO Box 310Wierda Park0149 South Africa I have been unable to find any information on the Roberto Company, and have not seen any other Robert Pan Flutes in my research. This is a wonderful instrument that would be a fantastic addition to a professional's collection. However I have seen similar professional models being sold in Europe for 400-600 EUROS. Here is the description from the catalog:P26 - Maestro26 Pipes (3 3/4 octaves) C to G. The serious player that wants to buy once would be satisfied with the wide range of this instrument. Will not need the piccolo but could use the Basso later (later)The Roberto Panflute is manufactured to world class standards. Reed from different varieties are carefully selected.
