Designed for use with the Compact Classic Pro amplifier, but works well with other amplifiers and P.A. systems thanks to its clear, crisp sound. Purchased as a perfect mate for my acousticube 3.  They sound great utilizing a preamp or hooking up to one of the AER cubes.  They are loud, clear and very accurate.  No PA speaker can represent acoustic tone better than AER and they are compact and LIGHT!  They have only been played through at low volumes for 10 hours maximum and are literally brand new in appearance and function.  The cost $1200-1300 each and this price cannot be beat for these very hard to find speakers.  I have NEVER seen a used pair and had to pay full retail -my loss is your gain.
