Description 69' Vintage Fender Telecaster Tele not reissue!! Ok here is a Holy Grail unmolested 1969 Fender Telecaster with original case and astray cover in the sexiest color they ever came in, Butterscotch Blonde. Yes the finish is checked and worn out in just the right places but this thing plays and sounds amazing. Very, very light weight. We tried to weigh it on a bathroom scale, wicked high tech, and it's somewhere around 7.5 pounds. No crazy added routings, not a refret or refin, original tuners. Pickups and tone pot appear original though I couldn't find any dates on the pickups. The tone pot dated 66'. I couldn't make out the numbers on the volume pot due to solder but it looks to my eye as around the same vintage. The serial # is 256682. I'm selling this for an older gentleman who just played at home. I own a couple of mid 60's Tele's myself and this one is just amazing. Completely set up in our shop. Nice low action. No buzzes. this thing will be worth 10g's in a few years. Your money's better off in vintage guitars than the stock market! If you've been lookin' for a plank to spank you won't be disappointed.
