I am selling this for the owner and here is a statement from him: "In late 1958 or early 1959, I purchased this Gibson Les Paul "Special" guitar, serial number 921855 from Music Center, 18 North Washington Street, Valparaiso, Indiana.  I believe the owner Hank Hallberg sold it to me.  To the best of my knowledge and belief, the guitar is in "as is original showroom condition."  I have stored it in the original Gibson case and have never altered any part of it or damaged it in any way."  This item is to be auctioned "as is", no warranty, purchase is final.  Local pickup only, I will not be responsible for shipping.  It is available for inspection in Valparaiso, Indiana USA, please e-mail me to set up an appointment.  I will answer all serious e-mail inquiries promptly, please do not ask questions if you are not interested in bidding.
