Glow products operate off a simple, safe, and non-heat generating chemical reaction involving mild chemicals. In fact one of the chemicals found within glow products is the common house hold product hydrogen peroxide, which you might even have a bottle of in your medicine cabinet to clean wounds. Furthermore, since the chemicals inside glow products are sealed inside their plastic tube there is very little likelihood of actually coming into contact with the chemicals.
