Description
I'm helping a friend of mine sell this banjo. It is a wonderful 1999 J.D. Crowe RB-75 Gibson. All original. Signed label in rim not a copy. only 2 issues, one tuner was a bit loose at one time and spun around in the tuner opening creating a small ding but no structural sacrifice and hidden by the tuner itself and a Keyser style capo was left on the peghead over a period of time creating a "stain" or impregnated orange effect on the laquer. I attempted to buff it out. It helped a bit but if it is an issue with you either don't bid or an easy quick sand and shoot fix could be done to bring it back to natural luster. Myself, it looks like the old days when someone kept their cigarette on the string end in the peghead. Frank Neat added a very smooth speed neck to the banjo a couple years ago and it is smooth as silk. The banjo has a Huber head and strings and bridge with a great set up. There is no reserve on this banjo with a modest begining price. Feel free to ask questions. But if you are hunting a reasonable priced Gibson USA banjo that rocks, you don't have to look any further. I know some of the newer model Gibsons are crap shoots as far as sound and playability but this one made it throught the the process with flying colors. Insurance is preferred but not included at my expense you must pay for that and a flat 65.00 bucks continental USA BUT WAIT! Hit the BUY IT NOW and I'll pay shipping and Insurance HOW'S THAT? Banjo sold as is, no returns unless found to be something different than described above thanks
