The Most Coveted James Signature ESP.      I started collecting guitars years and years ago.  Some might laugh, but I got into collecting with my first serious guitar which was an ESP KH-3 Kirk Hammett Neck Thru model.  I know, I know, most collectors are thought of as having $50,000.00USD Stratocasters and Les Pauls.   I’m not ashamed to admit I am a rabid Metallica fan.   I never could have imagined I could own the guitar you see below.  It was definitely out of my price range and that’s only if you could find one.   Dreams can come true and to prove it, I have a JH-3 ESP and here it is.  Offered to some other lucky Metallica freak on this planet.   This auction is for my EXCELLENT Condition 1999 ESP JH-3 James Hetfield Signature Series Guitar complete with original ESP Jaymz Case and Original ESP Checklist.   If you don’t remember the number, it’s 100!  ESP made only 100 of these back in 1999.  Ahh—The “Re-Load” days and the Garage, Inc. Days.  Remember that?  Metallica put out their second album since THE BLACK ALBUM and all had short hair.  The world went crazy.  Called them sell outs and posers and whatever nasty word you can think of.  Well so be it.  Metallica is still the premiere heavy metal band of the 80’s, 90’s and today.   Don’t believe me?  You can’t have a conversation about ANY heavy band without SOMEONE comparing them to (guess who?)
