The frets show average wear, but the neck was in excellent playing condition when it was on the body and it did not have any dead frets or other issues. The fretboard has some worn spots on the top and sides and the back of the neck has no major dings. The The headstock has small dings around the edges and no breaks or repairs. This part was removed from a genuine U.S. made Fender Precision Bass. The Serial Number was S908794, the Neck was dated 12-5-81, the Pots were dated to March of 1981 and the Pickups were dated to 1982. The bass was in perfect working condition before being taken apart, had no issues whatsoever. I have the rest of the parts from this guitar up for auction this week unless this part did not sell and has been re-listed. I will not issue a refund if this part does not fit in your project when you receive it.
