Description
You are looking at a 1979 Vintage Gretsch White Falcon. Model 7595. Ser # 4-0082It is a true Gretsch, not an Asian re-issue. It looks, sounds and plays beautifully.I have had a few of these and this has got to be the best. The neck is straight. It has never been reset and does not need to be. The action is wonderful. It has a few dings on the headstock, and a little wear around the top strap lock. It has a mark in front of the Bigsby on the top half. The guitar was originally a stereo model. When I bought it, it had been converted to mono. Using all of the same knobs, switches and buttons, I installed (professionally)"Ctrl-X" piezo bridge pick ups, similar to a Parker. It is once again stereo, but split between the Filtertrons and the "accoustic" saddle pick ups.Either the Filtertrons, or the piezos can be used, or both can be used together. It jack takes a regular, or a split cable. It sounds incredible! As you see in one of the photos, the bridgeis held in place with two small screws and a small hole was drilled to accomadte the piezo wires.E-mail me with any questions, and I can call you to describe it in more detail.
