This is a 1969 Fender Precision Bass with a post 1962 neck with a veneer rosewood fingerboard. As you can see the toggle switch is not original although the volume and tone knobs are. It has a brass nut which was probably put on in the early 70's when it was the rage.. The machine heads are not reverse heads but look original. If they were changed it was many many years ago because they look the same age as the bridge. It has Dimarzio pickups which were put on many years ago. Can't say exactly when. The original bridge and pickup cover are missing. The tone pots and wiring look all original.   Serial number is #239648 which is dated 1969 and the date on the end of the neck is  dated  8-22-59.      In addition to being a vintage treasure it also plays really awesome.        Take advantage of this baby!!!
