Description
1966 Fender Telecaster in Lake Placid Blue. Custom color Fenders seem to be making a pretty big leap in price lately. This one is in very good condition. Chance to get a great custom color Tele!!! All Pre-CBS appointments. Kluson tuners, older style transition decal. Some edge wear but nothing too bad. Great neck that is very flamey. Some checking near the neck pocket. The case is rough around the stitching but in great structural shape. It's also the original Telecaster case. NO STRAT IMPRESSIONS. No alterations or missing parts. FREE SHIPPING!!! I would suggest picking up the guitar in person and checking it out for yourself. Thanks! Did I Say "LAKE PLACID BLUE"? I have recently checked the impedance of the pickups and it looks like the neck pickup may need some attention. It's reading 3.7k ohms. After talking to the guys at Lindy Fralin, they think it could be a bad spot in the winding or a possible bad spot on the switch. I have not taken it out of the circuit to determine which it is. I would rather let the potential buyer make that decision. A rewind may be in order. Your call.The bridge pickup is reading 5.9k. They both sound great!
