Super Clean 66!' Description   1966 Fender Stratocaster Neck Here is an original '66 Strat Neck! It has had some degree of work done to it in the past, but I'm not sure how much. The only thing that really stands out is the Truss Rod. It's the correct style for the era, but just looks very new. There is also some wear on the sides of the Nut, so it's probably been replaced. With that said, it's a GREAT neck! It is straight and the truss rod works. The frets show very little wear and the fretboard is clean. The back of the neck has some finish loss, but it's not too much. There are also a few minor dings on the back of the neck, but nothing that's distracting. The neck was in excellent playing condition when it was on the body and it did not have any dead frets or other issues. The headstock has some light wear around the edges, but no breaks or repairs. The decal is original and has partially flaked off. It's applied to the top of the finish and this is a common problem with 60's Strats. A very nice and clean neck overall! This part was removed from a genuine U.S. made 1966 Fender Stratocaster. The Serial Number was 139331, the Neck is dated February 1966, the Pickups were dated 6-22-66 and the Pots were dated to March 1966. The guitar was in perfect working condition before being taken apart, had no issues whatsoever. I have the rest of the parts from this guitar up for auction this week unless this part did not sell and has been re-listed. I will not issue a refund if this part does not fit in your project when you receive it.
