You are looking at a really clean sunburst 1966 all original Fender Jazz Bass w/OHSC and in just short of mint condition! This baby has been appraised by Dave at Fretware (http://www.fretware.cc/) at 8-10K and set up by the amazing Mr. Mark Kaiser of Fret Repair (http://www.fretrepairbymark.com/) and it can be yours! There are very few dings or scratches on this bass, and only a few thru the clear coat (see pics). The bass is structurally sound and sounds like GOD (or at least Jaco). When the bass first came in, it had a problem- the neck had a hump where it joins the body. The amazing Mr. Mark Kaiser removed the last 9 frets and the corresponding inlays, planed the fretboard flat and re-installed the original frets and inlays! As a result, he neck is perfectly straight. The frets are 100/100 because the original owner always used flatwounds. The hardware is nickel, except the keys which are chrome and are in 85/100 condition. The case is in 95/100 condition and all the latches & hinges work as they should.
