All original condition except tuning pegs and volume/tone control knobs which are reproductions. Some crazing but a through inspection reveals no damage to integrity of guitar. Cherry color. Les Paul truss-rod cover, factory-installed mother of pearl inlaid ebony tail piece (production approx. 200), vibrola, original case. One owner since 1965. One of 1449 originally made. This is the one that started it all, the real thing! Instrument is what it is. Beautiful guitar and excellent player, appraised at between $20,000 and $22,950 as is, original case appraised at $1000. I replaced original tuning pegs and knobs in early 1970's and recently replaced those with authentic reproductions. All replacements done by master technician and guitar maker Eric Shoenburg in Tiburon, CA, to original specs. P/Us are not PAF's. Inspection of the all original electronics reveal that the instrument was made in 1962 shortly after patent was granted. Do not confuse this one with a standard SG, it is a Les Paul/SG and made with Les Paul components with the then new body style.
