Yes, I know that statement is pretty bold, but those who know me, know I'm speaking the truth. Why isn't this a $30k guitar?  Simple, while it's completely bone arse stock, the original owner had put a big arse "Cowboy" Pickguard on it and the results are some extra holes on the body.  Hell, put a tooled leather body guard on her and...well you get the idea.  The all important thing is that it's still 100% original except for some holes that are going to save you several thousands of dollars!!!! The neck is dead on 1957 as it has a soft V profile and is medium in size.  As you can see, not much in the way of fingerboard burn or wear...only the cowboy chord area shows wear.  The neck is straight (just a hint of relief that a quarter turn of the truss rod would remove) and sets up perfectly.   The frets are also original and show very little wear.  The pickup reads in at a healthy 6.43K and delivers the goods!  Please don't tell me that Esquires are one trick ponies!!!!! She is fairly light at only 7lb's, 4oz's! As you can see, she also has her original and dare say rare Fender Gig Bag that is battle scarred and such, but is still the original Gig Bag!!!
