A couple of minor issues and a expertly repaired smiley face neck crack is keeping it from being 75K. The issues are the that the pickup wiring is spliced at the pickups (the wiring and soldering in the control cavity is completely stock and virgin). The ABR-1 has a retainer wire, so we know it's been changed. There is some very light routing in the neck pickup cavity (see close up pic). There is some smoot around the edges of the control cavity and three way switch cavity. It appears that there is some gold paint in the control cavities, but I don't believe the back has been refinished....just look at the color and the serial number (I airbrushed out the last digit of the serial number for privacy and is not on the actual guitar). Moreover, it has been completely blacklighted and the only thing that shows up is the expert repair of headstock crack. I've taken plenty of detailed pictures to tell the tale of this unreal sounding and playing old wood Tune-O-Matic Les Paul!!! The neck is not too big as they tended to get around the middle of 1957 and has a C profile. It has been expertly refretted with large wire and the Brazilian Rosewood Board was lightly cleaned up to remove the dead wood that results from years of playing...the radius feels to me to be the same. I have it set up with nice low action and it plays like butter and without issues. The P-90 have that sweet singing sustain and read in at 7.92k and 8.09k. There is some belt rashing on the back that doesn't go to the bare wood, and some arm area greening on the top...overall this is a nice looking old wood Les Paul that because of a couple of minor issues is going to save you big time. Heck, didn't I mention that she only weighs a very light 8lb's, 2.4oz's!!! It ships in her original Lifton 4 latch hardshell case that is in real nice shape as is all there.
