Participating in All South Jersey, All State, Philadelphia Young Artists Orchestra, Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO), Settlement Advanced Orchestra, Trowbridge Chamber Orchestra (Settlement) and a few quartets was a very great experience I had while playing beautifully with this viola. Solos were played on this viola also which was outstanding.Violists from a lot of places out of town tell me what an excellent/superior sound this viola makes. It is very rare to find an outstanding sounding viola at this price.The reason I am selling it is because I want to switch to a smaller size viola. I originally bought this viola for $2,500 2 years ago. This Superb viola is worth the price. It beats $6,000 violas. People describe this cello-like sound as superior. It came with a certificate. Excellent condition!The viola size is 16 1/2". Larger violas such as this one, produce a cello like deep viola sound which makes it have a rich tone. This viola is antiqued which also adds sweetness to the sound.
