You are looking at a 2007 Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Art/Historic 59 Reissue with a Dark-Burst finish on an incredible fanned maple flamed top... and a dark back! I've seen alot of 59's and had quite a few great ones come through my inventory... but this is truly one of the most unique 59's I've ever seen! I'm probably saying too much... the pictures really do speak for themselves in this case... WOW! FYI... She's 100% original and ready to rock! Here's the lowdown on the features; Mahogany Back - 'Dark-back Finish! Maple Flamed Top - Did I mention how awesome this top is?! 50's Style Rounded Neck Profile Bound Rosewood Fretboard - Gorgeous woodgrain! Bound Top Nickel Hardware Gibson Vintage Tulip Style Deluxe Tuners Trapazoid Pearl Fret Inlays Burst-Bucker 1 and 2 Humbucker Pickups CTS Pots Bumble Bee Caps 3-way Toggle Switch 24 3/4" Scale Nut-width 1-11/16" She Weighs 9.5 lbs. Serial # 971228 She is less than a 1-year old and has been totally babied! I just picked this up from a collector friend of mine, who has way more guitars than he has time. He only played this one gently in his smoke-free home. Subsequently, the guitar is extremely clean. with no nicks or dings to be found. There is a single tiny light pin-head sized impression on the top... which you will have to look under-direct light at an angle to find. Otherwise, the neck is straight with no cracks or repairs... The frets are perfect with their entire life ahead of them... and the sound is amazing!! Also included is the Original Gibson Art/Historic Lifton brown hard shell case (shown in the pictures) which is also in perfect new condition and even includes the COA (certificate) the leather custom shop strap and the hang tags!
