Description
You are bidding on the Harpsicle Folk Harp in excellent condition. I recently bought this 26 nylon string (3-1/2 Octaves) "lap" harp in June 2007. It weighs only 5 pounds and is just 33" tall, making it very easy for children to play but is still well big enough for adults. It comes with a deluxe tuning wrench & the optional & complete, extra string set. The harp sounds great and tunes easily.  The sound & tone is the same as many larger pro-harps I have auditioned. There's no problems or blemishes with any of the harp. This model comes without sharping levers. It is the "natural wood" coloring. It includes the black Harpsicle strap & the optional, adjustable "kneebones" lap bar (which holds the harp surprisingly solidly on your legs). This harp will make an excellent portable or student harp for anyone. I am also selling my Sylvia Wood's "Teach Yourself Folk Harp" set complete with Book, CD & DVD. Check with the appropriate EBay listings. You can go to Sylvia Wood's web site for some more info on this harp:  http://www.harpcenter.comThe harp is being sold "as is" without any refunds or warranty (the original warranty, regrettably, doesn't pass through to 2nd buyers that I know of). I am only selling to people within the lower 48 U.S. States. Shipping & Insurance & Payment info is below. For shipping purposes, the harp will be shipped with the neck & pillar disconnected from the body. Two screws hold it all together and reconnects the harp quickly and easily. The strings will remain intact, so, the harp can be tuned & played as soon as it is received, in just a few minutes.
