Description
This is a really clean copy of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 2000 publication, “Dangerous Curves, The Art of the Guitar”. Paperback. 10 x 10 ". Over 400 years of guitar design and history-180 full-color photographs. This was issued as a companion to a show at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. It s fantastic and eye popping catalog (like a Playboy for guitars) and history from the origins of the guitar to today; guitars profiled include: the Gretsch Rhumba model flat-top, Harmony Singing Cowboys Model, Gibson L-5, Gibson ES-150 1936 model, Gibson L-5 (1924),Weissenborn Hawaian Steel, Nation Steel Resonator (1934), Lap Steels, and many many more... Fender Stratocasters, telecasters, Jauguar, Mustang, Les Paul, many quirky Rickenbackers, Clear Ampeg, Vox, Flying V and many others.. This is in excellent condition and is presentable as a gift; it has almost never really been fully opened, so the spine is perfect. Corners are fine.Only really visible blemish is a small scuff/ scratch low on back cover . Great for the Classic, Blues, Jazz, Rock enthusiast. Bid with Confidence!
